Dawon joined Star Empire Entertainment in January 2015 along with Sihyeon. Pink is her favorite color. She had studied at Baekje University. Her nickname is Damo. In 2017 she auditioned for MIXNINE, but she didn’t pass the audition. Dawon’s shoe size is 230–235 mm. She made an appearance in I Can See Your Voice Season 6 in Episode 6. Her hobby is singing. Her hand size is 13 cm. Dawon’s favorite food is Teokkbokki (떡볶이) which means Korean rice cake. She doesn’t like carrots and oysters. Dawon hates melon fruits, but on the other hand, strawberries are her favorite fruit. Dawon revealed that she really likes to sing the song “I Like You” by Day6. Something she always has in her bag is Airpods. If she was born again she would want to be an alien. Dawon has said that she loved BoA when she was a child. This main vocalist of this group has quite an interesting personality. Dawon is a girl who has a high spirit, is confident and joyful. She is really funny, even Jueun thought that she is the strongest member and she couldn’t beat her. On the other hand, Dawon’s aura is more visible when she sings.

ARIAZ’s Dawon’s Singing Little Mix’s Song “Touch”
Dawon is the main vocal in the group, and she has a beautiful visuals and a good voice. Dawon has repeatedly been showcasing her skills by making covers of various songs popularized by Korean singers or western singers. We can readily see this by the cover song she uploaded on October 4th, 2019. The video uploaded on the YouTube channel named 플래닛TV by planet350 displays Dawon’s skills through her performance of a song by Little Mix titled “Touch”. Dawon made an acoustic version in a sauna/bathing costume. She has an incredible voice that can easily touch everyone’s heart. Even her pronunciation in English sounds very good and fluent. ARIAZ’s Dawon’s Pre-debut Story As a MixNine Contestant
Before debuting with ARIAZ, Dawon auditioned to participate in the survival show MIXNINE organized by YG Entertainment and Golden Age Media. MIXNINE was aired on JTBC and the founder of YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun-suk also assessed and selected contestants who have the potential to become K-Pop idols. All the participants who took part in the audition were approximately 400 from 70 different agencies; out of them, 150 contestants would be selected for the show. In 2017, Dawon did an audition for this survival show MIXNINE by the name Lee Dawon. She introduced herself as a Star Empire Entertainment trainee along with other Star Empire Entertainment trainees, some of which are ARIAZ members. Lee Dawon appeared in MIXNINE in Episode 7: she and some other Star Empire Entertainment trainees entered the audition by showing the talents and skills they have in front of Yang Hyun-suk. If we see from the video above, you will find Lee Dawon in the second place from the right side. She wore a white crop-top long sleeve t-shirt, with a navy plaid shirt tied around her waist. She and the other trainees introduced themselves cheerfully and very passionately, then they spread into two teams and sang different songs. Dawon entered the first group and performed with three other trainees, and they sang a song from their senior group Jewelry titled “Back It Up”. Unfortunately, Dawon didn’t pass the audition and failed to get an opportunity to become a MIXNINE contestant, and only two Star Empire Entertainment trainees were able to move forward to the next level.
ARIAZ’s Dawon’s Latest News
Dawon debuted with ARIAZ in 2019 when they released their first mini-album Grand Opera with two singles “Moonlight Aria” and “Where U R”. After debuting, it seems that in 2020 there haven’t been any signs of the group making their first comeback. Even though there’s no schedule for a comeback, Dawon and her group often upload some content on their YouTube channel regarding their activities such as games, vlogs, cover songs, dance covers, etc. All the content they upload aims to keep doing group promotion and also make their fans feel happy. Such is the case with the content uploaded on August 3rd, 2020. Dawon and the other members did a practice guided directly by one of their seniors.
