Ni-ki danced as a backup dancer for their stage performances during 2016-2017. Since then, he has dreamed of being an idol.

Ni-ki became a contestant of the survival reality show I-LAND sponsored by CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment on June 4, 2020. He was ranked fourth on the show and became a member of the boy group Enhypen. Ni-ki performed “Jopping” by SuperM on the first episode of I-LAND.
