About the Controversy of Kingdom: Legendary War
Despite the euphoria and intense atmosphere, there is some controversy surrounding Kingdom: Legendary War. Mnet allegedly mistreated the participants unfairly, and there was an unfair budget allocation among them. It was stated that the budget for each group’s stage performance and props would be 5 million won. The agencies of the groups that didn’t have extravagant props appeared to be far from the budget and reportedly confronted the production team regarding the matter. They also asked the production crew to create a fair environment on good terms. Mnet released a statement regarding the issue: “As it was the first contest, we set the production cost to coordinate the stage of the 6 groups, but we apologize for not taking into account the areas that could not be defined in detail, such as scope and availability. The production crew of Kingdom is working closely with the six teams and the six teams in advance so that the artists can focus on the stage and create the best stage.” That is everything about the Kingdom: Legendary War survival show!
